Setting the Test specific Options
The Test Group table lists all the tests under the 'Test' column. By default, all the tests are enabled. This is reflected in the 'State' column of the table. You can disable or enable a test by crossing the check box provided besides each of the test and then clicking the Enable or Disable button provided below the heading of the table. The State column reflects any changes that you have made. The options of the enabled tests can be edited in the test options page. Use the following steps to edit the test options:
Click on the test name hyperlink for which you intend to edit the options. This will navigate to test options page.
Specify the stress level - low or high, depending upon your requirement. By default, the Stress is set to high.
Chose the Scheduling Policy between Test Time or Test Passes. Depending on the selection, provide the time in minutes or number of passes accordingly. By default, the Scheduling Policy is Test Time and the time value is 0 (infinite).
For Error Limit, specify the number of errors beyond which the test should stop executing. By default, the Error Limit is set to 1.
For a chosen test, if device options have been exported for the device then, a list of devices may appear in 'Device Table'. In the table, the desired devices can be enabled or disabled. To modify the device options, click the 'Device Name' hyperlink in the 'Device Table'. On the other hand, if no device options are exported for the device then, a checkbox will appear corresponding to each device name.
Click on OK button for saving these edit values. Clicking Cancel button will navigate you back to the Test Group page without saving any option values. You can also navigate back to the parent page using the bread crumb links provided at the top of this page.
This completes all the parameter settings to test the host machine.
