*********************************************************************** VIRTUAL UNITED STATES COAST GUARD HH-60 Jayhawk with autopilot GO TO: WWW.VUSCG.ORG *********************************************************************** The Virtual United States Coast Guard (VUSCG) is an organization of fellow flight simulator enthusiasts that enjoy simulating the missions and procedures of our nation's coast guard. We have found terrific enjoyment from trying to emulate the heroic and life-threatening jobs that real-world USCG men and women perform as a daily routine. Out of admiration and respect, we have tried to make this organization as realistic as our virtual environment will allow and have made every effort to maintain a similar level of professionalism to our real- world counterparts. original design by : Designed by Phil Stokes Re-painted by Danny Levin -August 2000. Reposted with permission of Phil Stokes additional work for the Virtual United States Coast Guard Air files by Adm. Ron Pecora cg0002@vuscg.org further panel mods by Adm. Mike Hilbert Further repaint work by Lt Cdr. Ray Brower CG1013@hotmail.com we have attempted to carry on the original designers of this helo by listing them in this file. Our appologies if you were part of the original design and not listed. *******************READ ME******************************************** This newest version has an increased range of 7 hrs/ 700 miles for long range SAR. When downloaded into the aircraft library there will be 2 HH-60's, the normal and the autopilot. For routine takeoffs and landing start out with the normal version. Once in flight, hit "pause" and switch to the autopilot version. Make sure you have at least 80 kts of airspeed before switching. You can then set you autopilot and go! The autopilot version uses a fixed-wing air file, which is the only way an autopilot can be included into the helo. The reason for this was because of the longer range of this version. PLEASE READ THE APPLICATION README.DOC- it has further operations instructions
